Yu Darvish strikes out 12 batters amid trade rumors

Yu Darvish may be wearing a new uniform very soon.

The Rangers ace struck out 12 batters Friday while allowing three runs in eight innings in a 4-3, 10-inning win against the Rays. Darvish’s name started circulating as a possible Cubs target Friday afternoon, and the four-time All Star proved why against Tampa.

Mets second baseman Wilmer Flores hit his second-career walk-off home run to lead New York to a 6-5 win against the Athletics. Flores finished the game 2 for 5 with the solo home run and a double.
